Welcome to goodkin!

This is a website devoted to family, so I suppose it seems right that after a solid year of working on it, watching it grow and now come to life, we feel like we just gave birth! Thank you for visiting and being a part of it.

Over the last couple decades there has been a dramatic change in the overall family dynamic. The definition of what matters most in life, the connection with those we love, has broadened and made room for people to create worlds that feel right to them; that fit and bring out the best in them. We wanted to hear those stories, feel their magic, and bring it to you.

Goodkin Family: The Family section will capture the “new traditional” lifestyle that is happening through writing, photos and video. We have a diverse group of bloggers that chronicle their family life in order to illuminate yours!

Goodkin Style: This is a broad section that covers all aspects of “lifestyle” from home décor and design to fashion. All roads lead back to our core mission – to serve the family collective in ways that are valuable and interesting.

Goodkin Kids: Will bring you fun and fresh ideas for music, film and books, as well as the Inner Style Guide for kids, where you will get to share your anxieties and sense of glee about the approach your child has taken to his own style. “She’s only four, do you think her love of leopard prints means something?”

Goodkin Fun: This is where we celebrate good times with parties, travel, food, playlists and more.

Goodkin Give: The concept of giving starts at home. The Anthology of Doing Good will be our way of showcasing kids and their families making a difference in the world. From the big non-profits to the classic lemonade stand, we will highlight the lifestyle of giving.
