Three years ago Adrienne Breaux showed up in Austin for what was supposed to only be a quick sojourn with her boyfriend and a van in the middle of August before setting off with plans of traipsing throughout the countryside writing. She never left. And though both the van and that relationship have fallen to the wayside, her love, enthusiasm and passion for the city has only gotten stronger with age. A writer, blogger and interior designer by trade, Adrienne has worked at a trendy design store downtown, owned her own interior design consulting business, operated her own pet and house sitting business and somehow managed to persuade enough editors to pay her for writing that she's able to make a living at it. She love smoothies, live comedy and when she's not tapping away at her keyboard, she can be found running around Town Lake.
